Strange crashes.

Randomly, the Tango is displaying the following error requiring a complete shutdown and reboot?

The memory could not be read.]

What is going on?

Do you use extension bays as well or just the main Tango unit? Did you experience this once or has it happened to you few times?

What were you doing at the time on Tango and on Nuendo? Tell us as much as you can.

No expansion bays.

This has happened, randomly, many times.

eMerging in U.K. has now given me another Tango that does not suffer so much from these crashes.

So you are still experiencing the same crashes with the new Tango, but not as much? Is that what you mean?

That is correct.

Recently I have been running the system with no tracks hidden in Nuendo and this appears to have solved the problem.

Consequently, I think that the crashes are linked to the hidden track issue you are already aware of.

I understand that your version 2.4 gets around this issue - when will it be available?

the v2.4 is in beta testing since last week. I can confirm that the hidden tracks issue is fixed and some great features like the input tracks control and Studio sends for Cubase & Nuendo are added.

It's almost impossible for Smart AV to announce an exact date of release, but It should be out for end of March. I hope as much as you that it will be ready sooner.
